Your next opportunity:
The Allocator/Planner is responsible for the successful delivery experience of our concrete customers. This part time role involves planning and allocating fleet and ticketing loads to relevant fleet to ensure the customer is fully aware and updated during the delivery journey. This role is pivotal to ensuring maximum fleet effectiveness while providing a great customer experience. You will work Tuesday to Thursday and 1 Saturday every month in the future.
Your day will involve:
- Contribute to the profitability of Boral through the efficient allocation of fleet and testers to customer orders
- Plan and schedule work appropriately to meet customer requirements
- Keep customers updated proactively during their delivery, working to resolve problems as they arise.
- Achieve maximum fleet runs to ensure optimal truck turns and full barrels
- Be conduit between site coordinator and customer to ensure efficient allocation of fleet and minimise impact to truck turns or waiting time.
What are we looking for?
- Experience working in a very fast paced, ever changing allocations environment
- Previous logistics and/or scheduling experience is desirable
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced call centre environment
- Previous customer focused roles
- Strong attention to detail
- Stakeholder communication and engagement
