Are you experienced with linehaul operations and have a proven track record in managing logistics teams and ensuring accurate order fulfilment?
About the role:
- Leading and communicating the relevant teams within the complete transport process
- Ensure that all orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled in accordance with company and customer requirements
- Follow and enforce all safety standards including freight handling, forklift and loading operations
- Ensure all loads are secured in accordance with company and industry standards prior to vehicles departing the depot
- Following all Chain of Responsibility (COR)and compliance processes
- Managing shift handover
The suitable candidate will possess:
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Compliance focused and able to manage teams in line with company and industry standards
- Customer focused, ensuring complete accuracy and quality of service
- Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, load restraint dangerous goods processes
- Sound knowledge of WHS expectations, including fatigue management
- Great interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with a team, motivate and guide staff
