The team sits within Risk Management and is led by the Senior Manager, Retail Credit Model Analytics.Risk Management is responsible for protecting the Group’s and Bankwest’s interests by offering insightful risk leadership and a commercial yet independent approach to managing risks. The Board and Regulators trust Risk Management to be the line of defence that ensures returns are achieved within an acceptable level of risk.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting insightful fit-for-purpose reviews and monitoring of retail Credit Models under both IRB Regulatory Capital and IFRS9 Provisioning frameworksProvide timely analyses on model outputs to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including Product teams, Finance teams, senior management, external regulators and auditorsWork closely with model developers and model validators to provide recommendations around the maintenance and improvement of existing models, as well as on upcoming modelsWork closely with implementation teams to maintain data infrastructure and aid in the implementation of newly developed models and revisions to existing modelsEnsure compliance with Group model risk policies, APRA’s ADI Prudential Standards APS 113 and APS 220, as well as audit requirements.We are interested in hearing from people who:Please note that we are interested in hearing from people who might not meet all the following criteria.
