As an Analytics Business Partner, you’ll be the crucial link between our data and the strategic decisions that propel our business forward. Reporting to the Head of Insights, Data, and Analytics, you’ll partner with senior business leaders and Officeworks Leadership Team (OLT) members to design and deliver analytics roadmaps that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Analytics Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for optimization and growth through data-driven insights. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Insight Delivery: Provide timely and proactive insights to support strategic goals across various business units. Utilize tools like PowerBI and more to craft self-service reports and dashboards.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional analytics projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across our Insights, Data, and Analytics team.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the adoption and value realization of analytics solutions.
- Data Stewardship: Maintain the integrity and security of data in line with Officeworks policies.
- Educational Background: A degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar analytics role with a focus on partnering with senior stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in tools like Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, and familiarity with SQL and data management platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
- Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects and fostering team engagement.
- Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, with a focus on delivering insights that drive business success.
- Growth Mindset: An eagerness to continuously learn and grow, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the team and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative solutions to address business challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, adept at presenting complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
