Description
The Finance Business Partner ANZ is a vital support for the ANZ Leadership Team, responsible for ANZ finance operations, and delivering insightful analysis that underpins strategic decisions. The role reports to the APAC Finance Director and overseeing an offshore support team, whilst also providing Business Partnering support to all Department Heads.
The role responsibilities are varied, including and not limited to:
>Business partnering:
- Conduct sales performance reviews
- Support the ANZ leadership team, and provide business decision support
- Communicate risks related to ANZ, to APAC Finance Director with proposed corrective measures
- Leading and working on global projects
>Accounting & Tax
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closing in timely manner
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts in local GAAP.
- Preparation of annual budget and monitoring for all relevant cost centres
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Deliver a streamlined month-end close process, including revenue recognition, taxation OPEX/CAPEX reporting, etc
>HR Admin
- Provide support in regard to HR Operations and Admin pertaining to On boarding, Salary and benefits management, Payroll oversight, and additional tasks as required.
Profile
Our client is looking for someone with an Accounting or Finance degree, who is also CA / CPA qualified. You will have developed strong technical accounting skills ideally in a chartered &/or multinational business, and developed Business Partnering and strong stakeholder management skills that enable you to have an influence on business decision making.
This requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to proactively integrate with the broader business to understand commercial and operational challenges. The role will also indirectly manage an offshore business support team, and ensure they are adequately resourced and performing to support the ANZ business.
Experience with SAP HANA preferred, but not mandatory.
