AO3 Payroll Officer – Cairns

This role is responsible for entry of Field Staff timesheet, labour costing, leave, staff movements and extensions of field and office staff.About You
- Previous payroll experience would be an advantage but not mandatory.
- Understanding of payroll principles and have the ability to pick up errors before processing would be advantageous.
- Be able to work under pressure in a very fast paces environment with tight deadlines.
- Must be a team player and easily adapt to new systems.
- Have confidence in fielding payroll queries from staff.
- Must have confidence in speaking directly with senior management and supervisors regarding payroll and staff movements.
- Confidentiality and discretion required
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills are mandatory. Visio would also be an advantage
- Sound typing skills with good accuracy
- Ability to work part of a team
- Able to communicate with executive level staff including Directors
- Ability to work under pressure to meet timeframes
