The ClientOur Client is a Cairns based Government Department focused on infrastructure of QLD.
The OpportunityAs a
Procurement Officer, you will use various computer programs and databases to support project managers and teams for the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement (DRFA).
Your key responsibilities include:- Providing procurement advice and information in line with departmental policies.
- Managing procurement activities like planning, documentation, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Supporting clients with end-to-end procurement processes.
About You- Have a Level 1 & Level 2 Qld PCP Procurement certification is beneficial.
- Experience in analyzing procurement documents and using finance and project management systems, including SAP and 3PCM (if available).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams is essential.
- Government experience is highly regarded
