Achieve Group Australia are seeking an AO4 Project Officer for our client in South Johnstone for an commencement on the 25th March 2024.
About our Client
Working within Plant Biosecurity and Product Integrity, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive and organised project support to the Policy team in Surveillance Control and Containment.
About the Role
As part of this opportunity, the successful candidate will be required to perform the following-
Provide confidential administrative and project support to Policy including data management of private and confidential information and doing quality assurance checks on data put into internal databases.
Confidently present work in a clear, concise and respectful manner and demonstrate strong influencing capability.
Follow approved procedures to facilitate delegations and appointments, including arranging identification for authorised officers.
Effectively plan, prioritise work, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality and work autonomously using a high level of initiative and self-motivation to assist in the effective management of incoming requests and resolve issues.
Support the development, distribution and management (including filing and retrieval) of documentation and communication materials, including the use of systems such as eDocs, MECS and Sharepoint.
Support a positive culture within the office utilising strong interpersonal communication to enable delivery of effective and timely administrative services.
Work flexibly across the business group and provide assistance with other duties as directed and required.
Required Experience
Experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Experience with maintaining document quality and control checks and systems
Term of Engagement
The term of contract engagement the department is currently seeking up to 30 June 2024 with possibility of extension.
