We are urgently seeking your administration and executive support skills for an upcoming temporary assignment with Qld Government in the Ipswich area.
Commencing on 21/05/2024 for approximately 5 weeks initially (may extend), duties include:
- Manage the administration of the section ensuring that office procedures and systems are efficient, priorities are met, and deadlines are achieved.
- Provide administrative project management support including confidential secretariat tasks; maintenance of electronic records; coordination of strategic, business and operational planning; prepare, coordinate and review departmental and ministerial briefing notes and correspondence.
- Undertake and monitor project milestones and initiatives, as directed, and report on their progress and outcomes.
- Compile and collate dashboards, financial and operational performance reporting.
- Utilise skills in analysis and problem solving in order to provide advice to the Director and team.
- Provide administrative support to the Research Advisory Committee (internal and external industry members) which is responsible for key research obligations.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the enhancement of Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Certification Systems and other regulatory requirements.
To be considered for this temporary assignment, you should demonstrate availability to commence on 21/05/2024, together with:
- Demonstrated experience in administration, executive/project support.
- Ability to work well as part of a diverse team and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and confidence learning and using new technology essential (experience in systems such as Power BI, Visio, Dynamics, Qudos, eDocs and SAP advantageous).
- Experience in finance and procurement processes.
- Experience in travel planning, booking, logistics management, project support and reporting.
There is on-site car parking available and the casual hourly pay rate for this temporary assignment is $54.34 (plus superannuation). This is a great opportunity to work with a Queensland Government department as part of a positive and collaborative team.
