Government agency looking for a Lease Manager to assist with their commercial property portfolio.
Your new company
Our client is a government agency based in Brisbane that provides a number of products and services to assist in the building and maintenance of government owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a Lease Manager to their team to help with their various and ongoing capital works projects.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing lease procurement and lease management within a government department including financial and tenancy management. You will also contribute to Government policies and be responsible for regional leased supply management as a part of their strategic portfolio plan.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of leasing projects within a government space. Therefore, you will come from a property management and project management background, specialising in lease management. You will understanding Government property policy and strategies and be able to undertake lease negotiation and lease management with a number of property stakeholders. Given this role includes documentation and the preparation of briefing notes, you will be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered an immediate start in an initial 3 month contracted casual role within a government agency with the likelihood of extension. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying an A05 rate + super.
