Constantly evolving and always learning we are searching for a motivated Certified Apple Technician to join our talented team and take the journey with us.
You will be self managed and highly organised and familiar with client facing roles; aware that communication with the client is just as important as your technical skills and know how.
The role entails completing customer repairs, servicing, check in jobs front of house, and sales. You will be responsible for the efficient management of allocated repair jobs and preparation of refurbished iPhones and iPads, including keeping job tickets updated and providing client notification on job progress, parts orders, and any issues as they arise.
You will be required to process walk in jobs through to larger enterprise and education bulk repairs. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a keen attitude are a must.
Preferred Certifications
- Apple Certified OSX Technician
- Apple Certified iOS Technician
- Apple repair experience
- Windows, Microsoft Office Software and PC repair experience highly desirable
Main tasks
- Perform routine repairs on all Apple computers and iOS devices
- Thorough understanding of GSX and administrative duties
- Management of parts and inventory used for these repairs
- Regular updating of job ticket, charges and other details
- Testing, sorting & organisation of stripped devices and salvaged parts
- Maintaining a clean workshop
- Front of house checking in of repairs and triage when required
- Taking care of clients with understanding and patience
Other Duties
- Occasional pickup and drop off of parts and/or equipment (compensated)
- Answering phone calls and emails related to pricing enquiries and job status updates
- Cleaning and organising workshop, workstations, equipment and tools
- Fulfill other duties as required by management
