THE ROLE
Step into the role of Workshop Computer Technician you'll be doing data migrations, repairing computers & notebooks and will have the opportunity to learn and to cross over into an opportunity to learn and excel at Level 1 troubleshooting and perform entry level MSP work.
LOCATION
The role is based on site at our office in the Mackay City Heart. Car-parking is available onsite.
What You’ll Do:As our Workshop Computer Technician, you’ll be integral to our team, delivering not just solutions but learning about the best-in-class support tools and Cybersecurity solutions
The role will serve as first and second point of contact on the service desk providing Level 1-2 Support and will if able have the ability to perform some onsite work when your schedule & ability permits.
- Tech Support: Deliver Level 1 support
- Hardware: Perform hardware maintenance and break/fix support
- Troubleshoot: Resolve complex software and hardware issues. Support will be available from onsite team and also from the team based at the office.
- Windows Wizard: Expertly install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows systems.
- Remote Support: Provide customer support via emails, phone, chat and other communication mediums by working closely with the internal support team
- Project Contributor: Aid in project tasks, from PC builds to software deployment.
- IT Industry/Vendor related certifications
- Demonstrated experience in providing onsite support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10-11, Microsoft Azure AD & Active Directory, Intune, Office365, SharePoint
- Wireless, DNS/DHCP, knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot networks is beneficial
- A demonstrated focus on customer service excellence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to provide leadership in customer service and customer communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
