Glencore Coal Assets Australia (GCAA) has an exciting opportunity for an Application Managed Services Manager to join our team in Newcastle office. As an Application Managed Services Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the relationships with external vendors providing Application Management Services and implementing changes within our organisation.

Reporting to the Group Manager - Applications (IS) you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing vendor performance, and facilitating the implementation of changes to processes, systems, and technologies. This role requires a blend of vendor management expertise, change management skills, and a deep understanding of application systems and their associated services.

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with proven experience in vendor management, change management, and service delivery management, particularly in the context of Application Managed Services. You also have a strong understanding of application systems and technologies, including ERP systems, Service Desk systems, Integration, Data and Analytics and custom applications. Experience negotiating and managing contracts and SLAs with external vendors is also required. A solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies along with ITIL certification or equivalent experience in IT service management is highly desirable.

You will have excellent communication and presentation skills. You will have a record of being able to establish trust and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across functional areas within the business.
