About the Opportunity
The Application Services Officer is responsible for contributingto the development, configuration, integration, and ongoingmaintenance of systems managed by Technology Services.
The role administers general second-level application supportfor systems managed by Technology Services and provides third-levelapplication support and serves as a subject matter expert forspecific systems or workloads. Offering expert technical guidanceand consulting to support the development, delivery, andimplementation of agency applications.
Additionally, they contribute to documenting and analysingbusiness requirements as well as shaping technicalspecifications.
About the Business
The Technology Services Business Unit is responsible for helpingto meet a wide range of IT needs throughout the department byproviding expertise and services in ICT Service Desk and DesktopSupport, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support, ICTContract Management and Procurement, ICT Security and Policy, ITAsset Management, software licensing and compliance, ICT ChangeManagement that assist in meeting the overall AGD objectives.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificateclearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
