As a Library and Customer Contact Officer with the City of Playford, you will be in the heart of our operations and the face of our service. You will be responsible for providing assistance to connect customers with our organisation and you be focussed on ensuring every interaction you have has a positive and lasting impression.

What you’ll do

  • Be the friendly face of our Library and Customer Contact teams, forging meaningful and supportive connections with customers in person, by phone, or online.
  • Juggle inquiries, requests, and feedback with good communication skills to navigate and resolve issues quickly.
  • Embrace our digital systems and platforms, ensuring customer interactions are smooth.
  • Be the go-to for our customers to find information on our extensive library collections, digital resources, spaces, programs, and activities.
  • Maintaining composure and professionalism during peak periods to ensure that every customer feels valued and prioritized.
  • Embracing teamwork and work in a fast-paced environment where your skills and dedication will contribute to an exceptional customer service experience.
