Join the Clinical Information Systems Support team on a fixed term temporary full-time basis up to 30 June 2024. You will work closely within a highly experienced and collaborative team designing and developing innovative solutions to complex enterprise challenges in a supportive environment. You will use your technical expertise in the development, testing, build and support of clinical application solutions relating to Pathology in the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) enterprise application.
The position will also ensure the maintenance of defined service levels for specific enterprise applications by providing customer focused, high level specialist advice and support.
The role:
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework.
- Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health by establishing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists, Application Specialists, vendors and end users.
- Provide timely application support activity reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in the ongoing development, maintenance and deployment of application specific guides, work instructions and technical documents.
- Prepare data collection worksheets used by application vendors to configure, maintain, and support complex enterprise applications.
Is this opportunity for you?To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 3)
- Demonstrated ability in the provision of high-level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
- Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment (SFIA: SLMO Level 4)
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, Application Specialists, vendors and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working)
- Previous experience working with one of the below systems is preferred:
ieMR – Powerchart
ieMR – Medications management
ieMR – ESM (scheduling management)
ieMR – CareDelivery
ieMR – Technical - Interfaces / Medical device integration
ieMR - Reporting
