One of Kapital's global asset management clients is currently looking to expand their Application support technical team to facilitate upcoming projects and transformations. As an Application Support Analyst your role involves offering operational and strategic support to all the different teams within the organisation and managing systems and applications within an ITIL environment
Responsibilities:
- End user support of internal applications including finance applications.
- Collaborate within a global team to monitor batch jobs and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Identify and deliver process improvements initiatives and automate processes.
- Participate in risk and compliance activities, e.g. internal / external audits, supplier related risk assessments, cap testing etc. Perform Risk assessments on applications.
- Troubleshoot technically complex issues and drive these through to resolution in line with SLAs.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve software issues that arise.
- Prepare and maintain plans for upgrades, integrations and deployments of the organisations system.
- 4 years of Application support experience within the finance industry
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, bespoke systems and finance systems.
- Experience with data warehouses, job scheduling, automation tools (Power Automate), ELT, client reporting systems, Joiner Mover Leavers systems.
- Previously worked in an ITIL environment with IT service management, demonstrating vendor management, ticketing systems (ideally Servicenow) & Service reporting.
- Knowledge of Application Development and Agile approaches
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Networking
- Permanent role with a Global Asset Management firm
- Sydney CBD Based office
- Work from Home - 3 days in the office however flexible
