About the role..
The Application Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing and providing technical support along with functional support for Applications (Quintiq) used within our organization. In this role, the individual will play a vital role in supporting our users with Quintiq applications, ensuring they can leverage the software to its full potential. be the first line of contact for users experiencing technical issues, functional challenges, and will work closely with development and implementation teams to resolve complex problems.
In this role, you will
- Provide timely and accurate technical support to users of Quintiq applications.
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including software bugs, configuration problems, and user errors.
- Document and escalate complex issues to development and implementation teams.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and other user documentation.
- Conduct basic user training and answer questions about Quintiq functionalities.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Quintiq releases and updates.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support processes and user experience.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Application Support, preferably with experience in Quintiq or similar supply chain and manufacturing planning software.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with SAP and other ERP systems.
- Functional knowledge of planning processes in manufacturing, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
