We are looking for a Mid to Senior Applications & Infrastructure Support Engineer to step into a Applications Management position. You'll be skilled in mainly applications support and to a lesser extent Infrastructure Support. You'll have deep technical knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating systems, computer networking concepts (e.g. know how socket connections are established, TCP/IP knowledge as a minimum) and the FIX protocol (e.g. troubleshoot FIX logs) coupled with actual domain experience in the financial services field (especially in the field of exchanges and trading systems). You’ll fit right in if you’re self-motivated, and passionate about your work.
The APAC division of this global FinTech is undertaking an ambitious engineering challenge that will add value to institutional and investment banks with end-to-end and vertically integrated products in the field of software based trading technologies.
Built from the ground up and to be used by Tier One Investment and Institutional Banks, their objective is to create a full service trading platform. This platform will allow their customers with high trade volumes to trade multiple asset classes, provide low-latency performance and pre-trade risk management.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Role:
- Provide ongoing, in-depth applications and some Infrastructure Support for trading applications
- Create and maintain testing automation
- Test, analyse and enhance the areas within your project when necessary
- Provide incident reports, and solutions to recurrent problems within the application
- Liaise with senior stakeholders (e.g. Head of Trading desks)
- Step-up and participate in pre-sales activities
