The Opportunity
The Crisis Support team provides 24 hour support and intake for women, with or without children, at risk of or experiencing homelessness as a result of domestic and family violence.
Reporting to General Manager Operations, the Manager – Crisis Support will lead, coach and mentor the team on best practice in their service delivery, safety planning and risk management.

Your Impact
- Lead a psychologically safe team culture for staff to provide great practice to clients and each other.
- Manage and monitor CIMS including case notes, vacancies, brokerage, “No Wrong Door”.
- Develop, refresh and review service policies and practices to ensure meet service and contractual requirements in collaboration with the General Manager of Operations.
- Provide opportunities for debriefing, reflection and learning within the services team.
- Collaborate with the Service Managers and General Manager Operations on budget reviews.
- Partake in manager on call roster as second in charge.
- Ensure the service is compliant with ASES and ACF accreditation standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and collaborate with the team to find creative solutions.
What you'll bring to the role
- Bachelor degree in social work, psychology, counselling is desired.
- Experience in people management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience of working in the DFV sector, family services and/or women’s services is essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Trauma-informed, Response-based and Domestic Family Violence Practices.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
