We have an exciting opportunity in the EPM Support team for an Applications Support Specialist.
Reporting into Support Manager, you will be part of the team responsible for providing the support of the Oracle EPM Cloud application, in the areas of Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Tax Reporting, Narrative Reporting modules. As a senior member of the team, the Applications Support Specialist – EPM Cloud will be responsible for leading and supporting the Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Tax Reporting, Narrative Reporting modules including the design, development, testing, deployment and support of custom extensions and the integration with 3rd party and legacy systems. Working closely and collaboratively with various stakeholders including Business, Product Owners, Development Team, Technology, Users, Solutions/Functional Team, and the vendor.
What you will do
As an integral member of the EPM Support team, you will:
- Provide expert advice about the feasibility and suitability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance.
- Provide analytical and problem-solving capability and direction for Corporate Applications, specifically the StaffLink Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Lead and support the delivery of critical and highly complex solutions to deliver organisational initiatives.
- Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of corporate solutions including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures to achieve the success of the project/s.
- Manage and develop strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider Health agencies and relevant external agencies.
- Provide plain language advice on highly complex technical issues to non-technical audiences to enable informed business decisions/outcomes.

About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
- Demonstrated experience in or a working knowledge in two or more of the EPM Applications
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes
- Extensive experience as a Support Analyst working with Oracle EPM Applications, including experience in implementation, upgrade and production support
- Superior experience and a record of achievement in planning, leading and managing critical, highly complex and/or large technical solutions in a large and complex service industry organisation

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form-IM011 form). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
