Appointment Setter

The financial advice industry is ripe for disruption. One of the biggest problems we face is that far too many people who need help with their finances, never get around to speaking with an adviser about their options.

Plenitude is a highly systemised and processed driven organisation designed to deliver holistic advice to young affluent households. 

We have an in-house mortgage broking team and a buyer’s agency service to ensure we maximise all asset classes and deliver tangible results for our clients. We run a fast paced environment and we are growing rapidly.

One of our key projects for 2024 is expanding the business to educate and inform 1 million Aussies by 2027! You are a key puzzle piece in the business, helping us to set appointments with potential clients as well as getting the Plenitude name out into the community.

About the Role

  • The primary responsibility of this Appointment Setter is client acquisition. They spend 90% of their time cultivating new client relationships. Typically, they do not spend over 10% of their time developing systems and processes, with the help of our admin and support team. 
  • They also help in building the necessary infrastructure to assist Plenitude in becoming more sustainable - and training new sales consulting staff as we expand the business.
  • The ideal outcome you will be working towards is answering client questions, qualifying them, and getting them booked in for a strategy meeting with one of our advisers if they are a good fit.
  •  Engaging with potential clients, setting appointments for team members and business stakeholders will be your key focus along with sharing your knowledge to new team members as we expand the business.

Typical Duties

  • Calling and qualifying potential clients
  • Majority of calls will be outbound
  • Taking responsibility for the experience of incoming leads wanting to work with us
  • To be a responsive, warm, first point of contact
  • The opportunity to progress to delivery of the education component of the service upfront (optional)
  • Attend and sign initial prospective client meetings as well as onboard new clients into the firm
  • Work with the principal adviser to decide the overall direction of the businesses sales processes and strategies
  • Help build the necessary infrastructure to make Plenitude a more sustainable business
  • Manage and coordinate all associate Appointment Setters in the future

Significant investment/s in Personal and Career Development via access to coaching programs such as Taki Moore’s Black Belt and other coaching programs to help level up your knowledge base.

Things we need

You need to have 2 -3 years of experience in a sales role, and be excited to create and improve existing sales systems. 

We need a proactive Appointment Setter who has an honest & transparent approach to communication and someone who is capable of having robust conversations with the aim of optimising for the ideal output.

Our new Appointment Setter ideally has over 2 years experience working in a sales or related role. They must be familiar and fluent in understanding a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. They will rely on extensive experience and judgement to help clients make the right decision to move forward with the business if they are the right fit.

  • No education requirements
  • A background in finance is a bonus, but not necessary
