WE ARE SEARCHING FOR THE NEXT UP AND COMING 2ND OR 3RD YEAR APPRENTICE CHEF WITH A PASSION FOR FOOD AND TEAMWORK!
Silver Spoon Beachmere are on the hunt for our next Apprentice to join our Team.
Must haves:-
- Great sense of humour, it’s the only way to get through service some days.
- Be able to cook like a boss solo when required, as well as the ability to work alongside our passionate Head Chef and Sous during busy periods.
- Not one to go rogue. We don’t smear, drizzle or use balsamic vinegar. So once our Head Chef has shown you how to plate & cook the menu, that is how it is to be done. Our customers love the consistency our Chefs bring to the table and what our Head Chef has created.
What we can offer:-
- A not so serious working environment where you won’t get yelled at. There’s an unwritten “no ego policy” and when it’s “on” we all pitch in to help each other out.
- Hardly any send backs to the kitchen or complaints.
- An award wage until we know that you fit into our team and you are happy working with us for the first 6 months, then we can negotiate.
- Standard 38hrs per week but we are consistently growing each week in what is supposed to be a quiet period.
- Learn how to actually cook real food from scratch, not just reheat from a bottle and place on a plate. We have zero interest in basic foods.
- We have a unique offering for our customers so you will learn how to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and have the opportunity to be creative to run specials once you learn our style.
We want our Chefs to think outside the box. Basic bacon and eggs isn't really our thing.
