The Role

You thrive on the opportunity to learn and grow as an apprentice at the beginning of your career.
Hyatt Regency Brisbane is looking for a 2nd year apprentice. This will give you practical experience in a large kitchen that will complement your studies.
The Apprentice Chef is accountable for preparing a consistent, high quality food product in order to provide guests with a memorable dining experience.
Previous work experience in a kitchen environment will be highly regarded.
You must be able to commit to the full term of the apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications - External
We are looking for a team player and proactive Apprentice Chef. With your natural social skills, smart appearance and your passion to achieve the best, you will be part of a strong, fun and vibrant team.
You will have started your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or looking to commence. The apprenticeship is a combination of practical work (inside the hotel) and theoretical work undertaken at a local institution (Certificate of Commercial Cookery).
