Jaws is located in Archerfield.  We are a leading manufacturer of earthmoving attachments for the mining and construction industries.

We are seeking people who are interested in undertaking or completing an apprenticeship trade (Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical Trade) at our Archerfield premises. As a Machining Apprentice you will undertake a variety of training on manual and CNC machines, while also learning about JAWS’s specialized processes, these are 95% machining work.

As an apprentice, you will be expected to learn on the job, attend TAFE, be punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic.

Jaws will provide you with:

• On-the-job training
• An apprentice mentor
• Assistance with RTO/TAFE Enrolment and reimbursement of fees (Conditions may apply)
• Modern Award Wage Conditions

What we need from you:

• Passion for this trade and can be reliable
• Responsibility to complete the apprenticeship successfully
• Honest, hard-working, and committed
• Must have a current motor vehicle license and have own transport
• Must have Australian Work Rights
