Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Risk, Governance and Compliance the purpose of this role is to ensure successful compliance with NDIS practice standards, with a key focus on Positive Behaviour Support. The key functions of this role will include:
- Assist with the development, implementation and regular review of compliance related materials, resources and reporting to ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Support the business to ensure NDIS practice standards are built into operational workflows
- Being the ‘go-to’ resource as the NDIS PBS technical expert
- Preparation, execution and reporting of internal audits to support certification to the NDIS Practice Standards
- Report on trends, gaps and areas of improvement to the senior management team
- Support preparation and participation in external audits
You will have a high attention to detail and be passionate about driving compliance and quality outcomes along with:
- Advanced understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards, particularly those relating to the Positive Behaviour Support
- Internal Auditor training (desirable)
- Experience coordinating and participating in internal & external audits
- Knowledge of ISO9001, National Child Safe Principles and other relevant standards is desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
