The Role
The role is within the Military Workforce Design Division, is part of a team who perform Command and Control Organisational reviews to ensure areas have their workforce and functions positioned to deliver against priorities.
The Project Support Officer is responsible for ensuring the collection of accurate, consistent and reliable data across various platforms and systems across Defence organisations. This role involves working with customers and high-level stakeholders across Defence to support the organisation design decision-making processes.
Tasks include;
- Data collection,
- Validation and cleansing,
- Integrity and maintenance
- Documentation (User Guides and Templates),
- User training,
- Workshop facilitation
- Providing support to the program leads.
About our Team
The team is focused on providing workforce and organisation transformational reviews that provide optimised organisation constructs that deliver obligations within an appropriate resource level. The team of up to 10 consists of ADF and APS employees working closely together on the suite of tasks including data analysis, and requires cross sharing of effort and resources to deliver outcomes.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate has experience and an understanding of workforce planning, organisational design concepts and data collection. You will need the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, and manage large amounts of data, resources, and will need to adhere to tight timeframes. Strong knowledge of Excel and using Powered BI Dashboards is essential. Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to present complex information to varied audiences is essential, along with demonstrating resilience in a dynamic and demanding environment.
