The MIWS Workforce Management Team Leader will work under limited direction to perform and achieve workforce outcomes for the Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch. They will be able to process and present data using multiple spreadsheets and possess a strong attention to detail.The Workforce Management Team Leader will contribute to a larger team, and have a high level of stakeholder engagement working in a complex and integrated environment. They will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to Branch workforce and accommodation requirements. The role involves high tempo work, strategic thinking and working across the Defence organisation to influence and support decision-making through performance reporting.This role will give the successful applicant the chance to learn a wide variety of workforce tasks that will provide excellent development opportunities, and push them to be a trusted and respected expert in the workforce field.About our Team
The workforce team is located with the Business Directorate of MIWS. We are a team of four who deliver a broad spectrum of Workforce Management tasks within a fast paced and dynamic working environment. This includes but is not limited to the coordination of Branch recruitment actions, managing the Branch organisation structure and associated establishments, Branch accommodation, coordinating WHS requirements and contributing to strategic workforce planning and reporting.Our Ideal Candidate
