About the role:
As a member of our senior leadership team, you will work and participate in a rotating roster of after-hours on-call support. You will lead a team of therapeutic support workers to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people living in our homes.
About You:
You possess the ability to lead a team effectively to achieve desired outcomes and have experience in developing and managing teams to deliver a high-quality service. You create a space that fosters growth and development. You have a high level of communication skills that enable you to effectively communicate with young people, guardians, and other allied health professionals. You understand the importance of maintaining professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality. You have sound administration skills and the ability to use and maintain internal client management systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with young people and children.
- Experience leading and managing diverse teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changes in work demands at short notice.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker orientation module
- Current ACT Drivers License
- Current Driving history record
- Current Police check or willingness to obtain one
- Current WWVP card
- Current First Aid certificate with CPR certificate
Desirable Skills:
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Diploma in Community, Youth work or relevant industry experience with a minimum of three years
- Medication Administration Training Certificate
- Cultural Awareness Training Certificate
- Youth Mental Health First Aid Certificate
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training Certificate
