Aps4 Finance Officer

The Organisation:
We are working with a large sized Federal Government Department. You will work within a team that undertakes a range of financial activities, primarily relating to management accounting and budget management
The Role:
This is an APS4 level Finance Officer role that will be offered as a s26 transfer.  You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a baseline security clearance.
The role is varied in nature and has duties spread across the entire spectrum of financial operations including:

• Processing AP
• Processing AR
• Banking and associated reconciliations
• Expense re-imbursements
• Monthly reconciliations
• Undertake cost recovery processing activities
• Assist with undertaking month end activities for the staffing, property operating and capital project budgets

You will provide financial processing support and advice for the Property and Security Branch to assist in maintaining accurate financial records. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong data entry skills, attention to detail and knowledge of basic accounting principles. Previous experience using TechnologyOne is desirable
  
Your Skills and Experience:
You must be able to demonstrate previous financial processing experience from an APS3/4 role.  The role has a wide variety of tasks and you must be able to demonstrate capability across most of these operations.

TechOne experience is highly desirable although they will consider candidates that have had exposure on other large FMIS. 

The role requires a Baseline security clearance.
