Aps4 Project Officer

An exciting opportunity exists for an APS4 Project Officer to assist in exceptional delivery of services.

Your new company 
This federal government branch is responsible for the delivery of programs and policies that aim to support the community in relation to health and health services. This branch is undergoing an exciting transformation in managing a new centralised Grants Model as part of a new reform project. The section you will be working in also oversees coordinating and developing the new model, oversight of the models implementation, managing initial workforce assessment and identifying recruitment needs as well as change and project management.  Your new role 
Your new role will see you join the section and develop an understanding of relevant administrative, financial and policy frameworks in order to provide accurate advice, responding to process, procedural and risk management issues. Here, you will work independently or under limited guidance, making decisions using sound judgement, expertise, and knowledge, as well as liaising with internal and external stakeholders on policy, project, or operational issues.

Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, including ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities and delivering work to a high standard with attention to detail.

Have a standard of written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.

Demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams, working towards a shared goal in a busy environment.

Ability to work autonomously if required and within a dynamic team environment, to meet deadlines and ensure delivery against objectives and responsibilities. *

Demonstrated the ability to achieve results, manage multiple priorities and respond flexibly in a high-pressure environment.

You must be an Australian citizen to apply and, if found successful, undergo a National Police Check, and hold and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance.
