As an APS5 Project Officer, you will play a key role in implementing initiatives that strengthen people-to-people connections with strategic partners and contribute to broader trade and investment objectives.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 6 Months + Huge Possibility of extension
Requirements:
- MUST have an NV1 or NV2.
- Selection Criteria response.
- Review applications from UK and Indonesian citizens for participation in the IECSEP and SDE Pilot, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and guidelines.
- Critically assess merit-based criteria for IECSEP.
- Conduct probity checks for IECSEP and the SDE Pilot.
- Update and maintain program documentation and systems.
- Liaise with applicants and businesses in Australia, the UK, and Indonesia.
- Collaborate with counterparts in other Commonwealth agencies, and in the UK and Indonesian governments.
- Support the Manager, FTAMIU, in active advocacy and stakeholder engagement programs.
- Initiative and good judgement in policy interpretation and application.
- Proven client service skills with the ability to manage workloads, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Effective team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
- Capable of providing advice, conducting research and analysis, and contributing to policy planning and implementation.
- Demonstrates the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, adhering to APS and organisational values.
