Great opportunity for Procurement Officers at APS5 and APS6 level to join a busy agency with an upcoming project. About the role:Providing specialist procurement advice and contract management advice to business areas, ensuring you are working in line with legislative and commonwealth procurement rules
Stakeholder and supplier engagement
Manage contract negotiations
Procurement process improvement and management
Compliance, governance and risk management About you:You will have extensive experience working in a procurement capacity
You will ideally hold formal qualifications in procurement/contracting
You will have previous experience working with government or Commonwealth procurement frameworks
You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
You will have a strong eye for detail, and an analytical eye You will have intermediate to advanced IT skills and have worked with procurement software systems previously Benefits:ASAP start (pending Federal Police Check)6 months temporary assignment with potential for extension
