Form of workOur client is seeking to engage APS5 Complaints Officers. Location: MULTIPLE (Canberra ACT, Penrith NSW, Paramatta NSW, Melbourne VIC, Adelaide SA, Hobart TAS, Brisbane QLD, Perth WA, Darwin NT)Contract Length: Start – 20/05/2024, End -22/05/2026, with option to extend up to 6 monthsEligibility/Security Requirement: Ability to obtain Baseline ClearanceDuties:Assessing and monitoring complaints or reportable incidents and other regulatory intelligenceManaging a caseload of complaints or reportable incidents. Assessing and escalating cases for investigation and other action.
Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including other governmental/ regulatory bodies, and service providers. Providing education and training to providers in relation to identifying incidents, preventing and effectively responding to abuse and neglect of people with disability. Prepare complex and/ or sensitive reports, documentation, briefings and submissions.
Your profile will demonstrate:Demonstrated experience in similar roles. Experience with disability, regulatory bodies and government are highly advantageous.
