Your new company
Within our client's Technology Services Division, they are responsible for the operation and delivery of high quality, trusted, reliable and secure national digital health infrastructure and health support systems within the Federal Government of Australia.
Your new role
Your new role involves assisting in the management of contracts related to the My Health Record, including but not limited to the National Infrastructure Operator, Services Australia, Oracle, and the Health API Gateway.
You will work closely with contract managers and internal and external stakeholders, providing support and advice on contract management, finance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Contract Management and Government experience preferred.
- Assisting with the successful management of contracts, including reviewing quotes related to additional services and tracking, monitoring, and advising on financial expenditure of contracts and additional services.
- Assisting with the coordination, communication, and reporting of contract performance and issues, including providing written advice to internal stakeholders and the Executive.
- Assisting in the undertaking and coordination of supplier performance meetings, supplier performance reporting, and effective management of suppliers, including reviewing and executing contract extensions, variations, and amendments.
- Ensuring financial compliance and adherence to relevant Government legislation such as the PGPA Act, CPRs, and the Agency Accountable Authority Instructions.
- Assisting in the management of the allocated budget against contract funds, including assessing monthly financial forecasts against estimates and seeking relevant approvals.
- Tracking, monitoring, and advising key stakeholders on performance against service standards and service indicators, including monitoring and reporting on contract deliverables.
- Coordinating the raising of purchase orders in SAP for financial commitment, including reviewing and acquiring invoices against the relevant contract and seeking delegate approval for payment.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and developing and maintaining effective relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management and finance (experience within a government environment preferred).
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and experience using a computerised purchasing/payment system (e.g., SAP).
