This agency is seeking a legal professional to work within the Practice Management team for 12 months.

This agency supports and delivers programmes for Australia's vulnerable communities and ensures access to services that are fair and flexible for individuals' needs. This branch provides strategic and operational support for legal functions for the Chief Counsel and General Counsel.
Your new role
As an APS5 Legal Practice Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the legal team within the branch. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist legal professionals with document management, scheduling and correspondence
- Coordinate legal workflows, meetings and deadlines with senior legal officers.
- Ensure adherence to legal policies and procedures across the branch.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful candidate in this position, you will have the following:
- The ability to think critically and have a problem-solving mindset.
- Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Have experience as a paralegal or legal admin background. Students who are currently studying law are also encouraged to apply.
- You must be an Australian citizen and be able to obtain a police check.
