APS5 Finance Business Partner 

Your new company 

Working within a medium-sized department, working to support the continuation of Aussie Farmers producing and providing for all Australians. 

Your new role 

Your new role will require you to support and engage with a variety of stakeholders. You will be required to but not limited to: 

• Provide timely and accurate financial advice for decision makers working in line areas. 
• Support with the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc financial management reports. 
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial submissions. 
• Assist with the preparation of presentations to advise on financial position. 
• Assist with budget tracking and providing sound advice on appropriate spending of finances.  

What you'll need to succeed 

You will need to be someone who has experience working within another Federal Government Department working in a similar capacity. 

The proffered candidate will have the ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA recognised Baseline security Clearance with a Bachelor in Accounting or equivalent qualification. 

What you'll get in return 

You will get an initial 12-month contract with the view to permanency. Working within a collaborative environment that supports flexible working arrangements.
