The Opportunity
With internal movements within the team this position is being offered as a 12-month non-ongoing contract. The team is building further on their Finance Business Partnering capability which means you will have an opportunity to establish meaningful relationship with the business areas. This is a great chance to get on board with a team that values its people.
The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of internal financial reports and develop forecasts with business areas
- Assist with internal budget development and maintenance, including mid-year review
- Assist with performing research and analysis of financial results to support the executive team in making decisions
- Prepare monthly finance journals including accruals to derive accurate monthly financial results
- Assist with preparing a range of written material including Questions on Notice responses, Senate Estimates submissions and Executive Committee papers
You are a clear communicator who enjoys working with others to kick goals. You are known for your attention to detail in your work and take pride in getting the job done to a high standard and on time. You enjoy understanding and telling the story behind the numbers and you use your initiative to solve problems and add value. SAP/strong Excel skills highly regarded as will be staff management experience.
Relevant degree qualifications with a CA/CPA or working towards is essential.
Salary / Rate
$90k - $100k + Super
