Aps6 Finance Officer

HAYS is seeking an APS6 Finance Officer to join a Federal Government agency for a 12-month contract!

Your new Federal Government Agency is located in the inner east suburb of Melbourne.

Your new role 

.As an APS6 Finance Officer, you will be supporting the agency's budget and finance control branch with some of the responsibilities below:

• Assist with development of work plan and strategic planning 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement projects
• Develop financial reports, corporate documentation and responses to ministerial submissions
• Coordinate and develop cost estimates
• Prepare business cases, reports and corporate documentation
• Undertake detailed financial analysis of budget & forecast

What you'll need to succeed 

• Qualified accountant, minimum 3–5 years experience
• Ability to obtain NDIS worker screening check 
• Pre-engagement check
• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Experience in SAP and Oracle (desirable)
• Experience in the State or Federal Government (desirable)
