Working within the Aged Care and Hospital Interface Branch in supporting participant pathways, this role is responsible for providing support to the team in developing and managing project plans and undertaking complex work guided by legislation, policies and strategic objectives. You will work independently to manage workflows and provide input to the development of strategies and evaluating business outcomes whilst keeping key stakeholders informed of issues that may affect project outcomes.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework
- Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
- Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders
- Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on project activities
- Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.
- Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
- Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
Ideally you will possess:
- Exceptional continuous improvement capability to identify opportunities, generate ideas and implement solutions.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to ensure stakeholders (internal and external) needs are met and to ensure productive relationships and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Supporting and coaching individuals in the team to develop trust, maximise knowledge and skills to ensure a commitment to the action plan for successful performance outcomes.
