About the OpportunityAPS6 Senior Risk Advisor, 12-month contract with a strong possibility of renewal. This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. While the role is based in Geelong, some in-office time is required. About the RoleThe Service Delivery Group Risk and Audit team support Service Delivery and its leadership team to proactively manage operational and strategic risks, obligations and audit issues in delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Discussions and Reviews: Assisting with facilitating risk discussions and reviews with risk owners, applying the Risk Management Framework to identify and manage operational and project risks.
- Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Analyzing trends in mitigating risks, minimizing potential exposure, and harnessing opportunities, including developing risk treatment plans and processes.
- Risk Management Training: Assisting with the delivery of risk management training and education programs to build risk management knowledge, skills, and tools across all work areas.
- Collaboration and Relationship Management: Maintaining relationships with other risk and assurance teams within the NDIA to ensure appropriate management of shared risks and issues.
- Risk Reporting and Administration: Providing input into the preparation of risk reporting for Service Delivery stakeholders and offering administrative support for the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) used to manage risks, incidents, and issues.
