Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled APS6 Senior Advisor to join our team and support the EL1 Assistant Director. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in organising and participating in stakeholder events, representing the organisation at forums, delivering presentations, and contributing to stakeholder engagement efforts. Additionally, the Senior Advisor will be responsible for building strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports or briefs on engagement activities.
Moreover, the role involves developing educational materials to enhance the organization’s education and outreach program, with a focus on creating targeted resources for vulnerable groups.

Location:  Multiple Locations
Contract Duration :  6 Months + Opportunity for extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the EL1 Assistant Director to organise and participate in stakeholder events.
• Attend forums and represent the organisation to promote its objectives and initiatives.
• Deliver engaging presentations to various stakeholders, effectively communicating the organization's mission and goals.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement strategies and initiatives to enhance relationships with key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain productive and enduring relationships with stakeholders, fostering positive partnerships.
• Maintain accurate and reliable records of stakeholder interactions and engagement activities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports or briefs on stakeholder engagement efforts, highlighting key insights and outcomes.
• Develop educational materials to support the organization’s education and outreach program, tailored to meet the needs of vulnerable groups.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of educational materials with the organization’s objectives and messaging.

 
 
Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Public Relations, Business, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, event management, and public speaking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Experience in developing educational materials or resources would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of or experience working with vulnerable groups would be beneficial.
• Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives preferred.
