We are looking for an Aquatics Centre Facilities Manager to join our fantastic team at St Peter's Catholic Primary School, Caboolture.
Our private aquatics centre provides swimming and related activities for St Peter's School students and students from local kindys, and schools.
The Aquatics Centre Facilities Manager position is responsible for the maintenance of service and operational excellence.
Reporting to the school principal, the Aquatics Centre Facilities Manager is tasked with the management of staff, patrons, stakeholders, and equipment within the Aquatic area of the facility. This role is a leader in the space and has endless opportunities to develop and grow a well-established department.Program overview:

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for water safety and is invested in making a positive contribution to the lives of students. The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in Aquatic Centre Facilities Management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Experience in effectively managing priorities for themselves and other staff
- Current Pool Lifeguard License
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Positive Blue Card
- Current Austswim Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
- Pool Plant Operators Certificate (or interest in obtaining)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all aspects of the Aquatic environment, whether plant or facility, are maintained to a safe and operational standard and are widely available to members, guests and stakeholders.
- Ensure the facilities are adequately staffed in accordance with RLSS Guidelines, SOP’s and any other relevant regulations.
- Support in the delivery of Aquatics Programs
- Successfully leading and timetabling a team of swim instructors
- Working in and managing the ordering of stock for the canteen
- maintain pool facilities and work with groundsman and principal
- Work within the code of conduct for an employee of Brisbane Catholic Education
