The Opportunity
We have a current vacancy for a full-time AR Officer to join the team, based in Brisbane.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the AR Officer is required to work closely with our customers to ensure all debtor accounts are within terms and accurate.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing cash receipts including EFT, BPAY, Direct Debit and Credit Card
- Inputting bank transactions daily
- Generating weekly customer statements
- Processing and allocating daily and weekly credit card payments
- Manage the accounts receivable archives, AR phone line and voicemail
- Responsibility for customer accounts with:
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Outstanding debt collection and internal reporting
- Respond to all customer queries in a timely manner
- In compliance with all WH&S and QA policies, adhering to safe work practices and escalating/reporting any issues as required.
- Any other duties as required
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong levels of collaboration and engagement across the organisation and with external customers.
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- 3 to 5+ years work experience in a finance or credit control role
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Must be computer literate. Experience with Zoho, Phocas, Savvi or Fresh is advantageous
- Demonstrate strong self-management skills including time management and organisational skills.
- Promote and support change management processes.
