Significant Australian owned Food Manufacturer and supplier of oleos, oils, fats, and margarines is seeking an experienced & dynamic Area Manager for its Foodservice Division.
Peerless Foods supplies a diverse range of products to local and overseas markets and as a senior member of the Sales and Marketing division you will be responsible for the Sales and Trade marketing of Peerless products to the Catering/Foodservice Industry within Northern NSW and Queensland.
Reporting to the National Business Manager Foodservice you will drive negotiations and account management with State buying groups, major accounts, and corporate caterers.
With profitable growth a focus of the role you will have a level of autonomy in price setting that allows you flexibility whilst managing contribution margin.
Ideally you will be tertiary qualified, or studying Business / Marketing.
Key objectives/responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the profitability of the Foodservice business within Queensland.
- Development of sales plans consistent with Business objectives.
- In conjunction with the National Business Manager preparation and delivery of State account reviews including state promotional program development and execution of national promotions.
- Identification of new sales opportunities consistent with turnover and margin objectives.
- You possess a working knowledge of the operation of buying groups.
As a professional in Sales and in particular the Foodservice environment you will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to drive change.
You will have strong relationships at both Distributors and End Users at all levels, and highly developed negotiation, presentation and analytical skills.
