About the role:
Responsible for a portfolio of sites in Wagga Wagga, the Area Manager will provide effective management of quality maintenance services and property support to a range of key stakeholders and clients. Excitingly, this portfolio will include one of BaptistCare’s newest assets ‘Caloola’ set to open in the coming months!
Together with the Capitals Works Manager and Operations & Facilities Manager, you will manage reactive and preventative maintenance, minor capital works, review strategic asset management plans and preparation of suitable programs and budgets.
Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, budgeting prowess, sound building experience and an eye for detail to ensure assets are maintained to the highest standards. If this sounds like you then apply now!
About you:
To be considered, you will have:
- Building, Trade, Facilities Management, Degree, Diploma or Certificate
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing preventative and reactive maintenance
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing maintenance staff
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hands-on property maintenance
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience in budgeting processes and maintaining operational budgets
- Experience managing property related contracts and contractors
- Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft 365 environment
- Driver's licence and travel, including sites outside the Wagga Wagga area if required.
