Area Manager - Underground Operations

Due to significant growth, NSMS have a rare opportunity for an Area Manager to join our team where you will be leading a high performing team in the management of multiple Underground Operations, all whilst on a family-friendly 4:3 roster.

Here's what awaits you:

• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, Foreman, Shift Supervisors and more across multiple operations.
• Initiate underground mining efficiencies with input from your onsite leadership team and stakeholders.
• Analyse site performance metrics and provide detailed reports and business improvement plans.
• Boots on the ground approach to leadership, with the support to be on site and practically leading your team.
• Be part of a close-knit management team where your ideas are valued and supported.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Experience: a long-term career underground contractor mining coupled with previous experience in a Management level position.

Qualifications: Degree in Mine Engineering is desired but not essential, the successful candidate must hold, or be willing to hold, a current Shift Supervisor Ticket and WA C Class Drivers licence.
