About the Role:
The Critical Incident Senior Coordinator is accountable to the Manager Critical Incident Response and is responsible for daily oversight and quality control of Critical Incident reports and responding to requests for information and data related to Critical Incident reports.
The Senior Coordinator is responsible for a range of Critical Incident management and advisory functions. The role provides advice, training and support to sites and directorate staff, ensures the timely reporting of significant incidents to directorate leadership, and ensures the smooth transition within IMD from the department’s current Incident Response Management System (IRMS) to the new Incident 360 system.
The Senior Coordinator advises the Manager Critical Incident Response on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the incident management system and efficient work practices within the Incident Report Management Unit.
Qualifications:
Desirable: Qualification in Child Protection, Community Services or similar.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO5 $84,522 - $94,003 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
