About the Role:
The International Business Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating, administering, and providing expert advice on international student application processing, school enrolments and market sustainability plans in line with International Education Services (IES) goals and departmental policies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and undertake functions and services related to the management, training and accreditation of agents, including providing information and advice regarding agent accreditation and training requirements, maintaining the agent database to a high standard, and providing regular performance reports with recommendations.
- Coordinate, monitor and deliver student application and administration processes and policies regarding full fee paying international student applications and provide advice and guidance to stakeholders.
- Identify, develop, and implement business improvement initiatives that result in an improved customer application experience.
- Plan, manage and report on market specific International Education programs and projects including study tours, training programs and market development programs for select markets.
- Research and analyse a range of data and information, provide expert advice to assigned staff, and deliver audience appropriate reporting on international student application processing, school enrolments and market sustainability planning to IES management.
- Actively participate in, and contribute to, a positive team culture that supports innovation and new ways of working and communicating to ensure business development opportunities meet agreed quality and performance objectives.
Qualifications:
- Essential a tertiary qualification in International Business or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO5 $84,522 - $94,003 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
