Our State Government client is seeking a Governance Executive Officer to commence the first week of July 2024. This role is a 16-week role, with full-time hours at the ASO6 level.
The Role and Responsibilities
The Governance Executive Officer provides dedicated project and high-level executive support, addressing both the immediate and strategic needs of eHealth Governance Forums.
Within this role you will collaborate closely with the Executive Coordinator, contributing to the preparation of briefs, analysis of information, and supporting various Committees to achieve targets.
- Responsible for the preparation of governance secretariat services for Senior SAH strategic governance that focuses on DHSA.
- Manage and facilitate actions, decision registers, resolutions, and reporting arising from strategic meetings.
- Undertaking preparation of reports and briefing notes for governance.
- Providing expert information, advice templates, and tools to assist areas across SA Health in preparing effective briefings and reports.
- Issues management relating to governance.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Experience providing executive officer responsibilities to senior committees/boards including review of papers, formulating agendas, minute-taking, attending to follow-up actions, and managing decision registers.
- Stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively.
- Proven experience in researching and analysing reports to develop briefings, CE, and Ministerial correspondence.
- Knowledge of South Australian Government priorities, policy directions, and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management principles, change management practices, and administrative processes within large, complex organizations.
